                                                                   Espoused Learning?

 Now in these days, youth don't value certain things they have. My English teacher Dr. Preston had treated us like colleagues to see if we do the right stuff. Having the trust of the teacher and treating us like older students isn't something that happens often. The teacher knows that there are students in the class that would do what they are supposed to do. In the other hand there are students that needs the teacher to be on their shoulder so they can do their work. I'm one of those students that do their responsibility and value people's trust. Having people trust isn't something that is easy to get back once it’s gone. 

          "The lie that tells the truth." Every person in the world had told a lie in their life. However, lies will always come out from the dark no matter what. In this class we had read books that had to do with lies. For example, in the book of Tangerine by Edward, the parents of Paul Fisher tried to hide the true reason that Paul lost his eye vision. But, by the end of the book Paul finds out what caused him to lose his vision. This shows that lies come out to the light even though you your plan was great to cover what you did or said wrong. Also, in the novel of Fahrenheit 451, Guy tried to hide books in his house, which is illegal in his society. He was nervous and scared to get caught with the books when the captain went to his house. This shows that the lie will eat you up until you can’t hide it anymore. In the short story of The Tell- Tale Heart, the killer was acting like nothing happened, until the police went to ask questions then the killer heard the heart’s beating. In other word he started to get frighten think that the police heard the sound and he turn in himself because he can’t go on with the lie. I kind of relate to the books because there was this one time that I lied and later I felt guilty.

          I have a big passion to become a nurse in the future. This have been my passion since I was in 7^th grade at El Camino Jr. High School. My first idea of passion was to become a teacher at elementary school to help young people to have passion for school, to get an education. However, this change over the time certain things that I saw on television, in the hospital and in my family. I would see so many terrified things that made my think. In hospital I would see at least one person that didn’t have someone that would cheer them up and so much sad things. So that’s the reason that I change my passion from teacher to nurse. I will go to a training school for nurse and attend college/university so continue.

          From this week of Masterpiece presentation, I found some things in common with some of the presenters. Those presenters are Jessica, Juaquin, Enrique, Yaxeny and Alidio. I spoke loud and clear just like Alidio. Another thing in common with Jessica was that we did a great job on explaining our topic clear base on the grading from the audience. Enrique showed a video of his topic just like I did. Juaquin got everyone’s attention something similar that I did with the classmate. Lastly, Yaxeny and I made some eye contact with the classmate.

          “If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn no one can stop you.”- Zig Ziglar.  This means that anyone can do what they want, but they must determine to do it. Sometimes simple actions can be a step towards a bigger thing. Getting an education is a great way to get more opportunities. Every in this class can meet their goals if they are willing to get a education.
